Maintenance Supervisor

£57,000 - £60,000 + Bonus 
4on/4off Days and Nights

My client have been successfully manufacturing for years in Birmingham and manufacturer specialist metals including Ingot, slab, coil, bar, sheet and more. They supply mainly into the Aerospace industry amongst other industrial sectors and are now looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team. 

Duties of the Maintenance Supervisor Role:

Responsibility for supporting the growth of the manufacturing operations across the factory managing a team of 9 engineers in total.

You will be working in a heavy industry environment working on machinery such as foundry equipment, furnaces, large presses, vacuum systems and forge furnaces. This role will be a mix of hands on/desk based. 

Benefits for the maintenance Supervisor:

OTE £65,000

Above market salary for the shift pattern

Overtime paid at x1.75 on a Saturday and double time on a Sunday

Experience required for the maintenance Supervisor:

5 years experience as a maintenance engineer from manufacturing either bias 

Ideally level 3 and apprenticeship served but would also look at level 2 if experience is within a similar environment

at least 2-3 years of supervisor/team leader experience

experience with Hydraulics is advantageous 

Experience as a supervisor from any manufacturing environment considered
