Exciting Opportunity for a Legal Director in Healthcare Regulatory

We are seeking an experienced Legal Director to join our dynamic and supportive law firm, specializing in healthcare regulatory matters. As a key member of our team, you will handle a broad spectrum of work defending healthcare professionals and organizations in regulatory proceedings.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing regulatory and inquest matters, as well as a proven ability to handle complex cases. You will also be responsible for managing and supporting junior fee-earners, with a strong focus on business development and contributing to the growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of regulatory healthcare matters for clients including insurance companies, medical and dental defense organizations, private individuals, and professional associations.
  • Handle complex cases and provide high-quality advice to clients.
  • Manage and support junior fee-earners, focusing on business development and department growth.
  • Contribute to training initiatives and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

  • 6+ PQE solicitor, experienced in professional discipline matters.
  • Strong technical skills across a range of complex legal matters.
  • Proven track record in business development and supporting growth.
  • Experience in managing and supporting junior fee-earners.
  • Ability to understand and meet client expectations, objectives, and key concerns.
