Subscription Growth Strategist

Spotlight Sports Group is a leading global media and technology company specializing in sports betting content and data. We're seeking an experienced Subscription Growth Strategist to join our team and drive subscription growth through data-driven strategies and customer-centric initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a long-term subscription growth strategy, encompassing packages, pricing, paywalls, and resource allocation.
- Partner with the CRM team to create a customer-centric CRM strategy, focusing on acquisition, retention, and reactivation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to establish a clear brand proposition and comprehensive marketing strategy for Members' Club.
- Work with data analysis teams to generate insights guiding key decisions and drive subscription growth.
- Team up with product and delivery teams to brainstorm, evaluate, and prioritize the product delivery roadmap.
- Join forces with the research team to gain deeper insights into subscriber motivations and satisfaction.
- Work with the finance team on budgeting, pricing, and financial modeling.
- Utilize A/B testing and multivariate testing methodologies to identify and implement improvements for subscription upsell.
- Responsible for assessing and managing key 3rd party relationships, such as our subscriptions backend provider.
- Stay up-to-date with subscription trends and strategies, attending publisher networking events.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of generating and growing subscription revenues for a digital subscription service.
- Extensive experience working within a digital environment, preferably within the publishing sector.
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively across multiple projects and influence key stakeholders within the business.
- Strong analytical mindset, with extensive experience in creating and executing new strategies.
- Ability to confidently communicate and create relationships at all levels (internally and externally).
