Academics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join our team at a mixed gender SEN school in East Grinstead. As a Psychology Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex needs, including those on the Autistic Spectrum and those with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to complete administrative tasks and support children with their academic work
  • De-escalate situations and provide emotional support to children who become agitated
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as eating and toileting, as needed
  • Work with teachers to establish learning outcomes and supervise children on campus
Requirements:
  • A child and adult DBS (we can support your application if you do not currently have one)
  • Commitment to working with children with Special Needs and a desire to make a positive impact
  • Empathy and resilience in a fast-paced environment
