Aesthetic Field Service Specialist

At Rotork, we're seeking a highly skilled and determined individual to join our National team of Field Service Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing essential service plans to our customers and their sites, reacting to various technical faults and planned maintenance of our products.
This role requires a strong understanding of valves, actuators, and digital control systems, as well as good knowledge of basic electronics, electrical, and fluid power theories. You will be expected to identify faults, repair, test, and modify actuators in the field, carry out mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaptation of components, pedestals, and drive shafts, and complete accurate and technical site visit reports for each job.
We're looking for a problem-solver who can think logically for troubleshooting issues and has the willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays included. Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to customers and their sites, including fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Rotork products.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaptation of components, pedestals, and drive shafts.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, using logical problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Complete accurate and technical site visit reports for each job, detailing work carried out and any issues encountered.
- Travel extensively, with overnight stays included, to provide service to customers and their sites.
- Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems.
- Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical, and fluid power theories.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools.
- Experience of working in a practical engineering environment.
- Full Valid Driving License.
