About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of major construction and infrastructure projects to achieve profitable revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to deliver revenue and share of wallet targets.
  • Identify and research significant major projects through market intelligence and create a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with customers and project teams to develop detailed project mobilization plans and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery and operational KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and retention.
  • Develop and implement effective account management techniques to align with customer and project team objectives.
  • Provide proactive support to customers to achieve on-time payments and maintain a positive cash flow.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and share with regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Work with regional teams to agree and deliver an effective sales approach and service support.
  • Understand the impact of commercial agreements on the business and develop value-added managed service partnerships.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with like-minded clients that offer long-term opportunities.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in strategic account management with a successful track record of growth and retention.
  • Consultative and strategic selling experience with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Financially and commercially astute with a proven ability to develop effective proposals and strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Results-driven, responsive, passionate, and persistent with a willingness to take initiative.
  • IT literacy including Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Holds gravitas and builds strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
