Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a team as well as independently. The successful applicant will be integral to our support services team. The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting thorough cleaning of various areas within the healthcare facility.
  • Utilizing a range of cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Participating in a comprehensive training program to ensure proficiency in all service aspects.
  • Achieving the Food Safety Level 2 Award through in-house training.

The working hours will vary, including shifts from early morning to late evening, with a schedule that accommodates weekends and public holidays.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • Experience in customer service or public interaction.
  • Some background in cleaning services.

Preferred Experience

  • Cleaning experience in a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Training in domestic cleaning practices.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, and Moving and Handling protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety, COSHH, Moving and Handling, and Food Hygiene standards.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Good general education background.
  • Relevant cleaning certifications.
  • Experience with mechanical cleaning equipment.
