Key Responsibilities:

  • Process reservations efficiently through various channels, ensuring adherence to brand standards while showcasing extensive product knowledge.
  • Respond to incoming calls promptly, maintaining a positive demeanor and upholding our brand's communication standards.
  • Utilize the Opera system to manage booking inquiries, follow up on quotations, and convert leads to meet team objectives.
  • Identify and understand client needs, employing upselling techniques to boost direct bookings while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Conduct daily checks on reservations and pre-arrival details to ensure accuracy in pricing and data integrity within the PMS.
  • Adapt to strategic pricing and yield management practices to optimize room rates and enhance revenue across the hotel.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from guests, clients, and agents in line with our brand standards.
  • Assist with group reservation management, ensuring smooth communication and information transfer to the Reservations Manager.
  • Oversee room inventory and availability to maximize sell-through and ensure optimal availability.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hotel offerings, including room features, amenities, rates, and cancellation policies.
  • Engage in additional projects as assigned by the Reservations Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with the reception team regarding special requests or last-minute changes.
  • Ensure all bookers are informed about hotel policies related to credit and release times.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in the Opera system.
  • Experience managing inquiries from both individuals and groups.
  • Flexibility in attitude and approach, adapting to varying business levels.
  • Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest and agent service.
  • Capacity to multitask while maintaining a high level of detail.
