We are seeking dedicated Assembly Operatives to join our client's workshop located on the outskirts of Exeter.
As an Assembly Production Operative, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Assembling, testing, and ensuring quality control of manufactured items.
- Interpreting technical drawings to accurately assemble products according to company specifications.
- Conducting testing procedures in line with established work instructions.
- Ensuring proper packaging and labeling of finished products, and organizing items onto pallets in the dispatch area.
It is essential to maintain a safe working environment as directed by the section team leader or supervisor, or by adhering to written work instructions when applicable.
Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping your work area clean and organized on a daily basis.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to acquire new skills and undergo training across various operations. You should be a collaborative team player with strong communication abilities and the flexibility to perform diverse tasks. Comfort with handling heavy items is necessary, and while a forklift license is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
