Job Summary:

The Work Shop is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our Financial Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering holistic services in line with your specific team and role responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, forecast, and plan your workflow and support your peers, together with your reporting line.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and training in coordinating, forecasting, and planning their workflow.
  • Oversee training and offer support to less experienced members of the group.

Specific Duties:

  • Carry out annual reviews for clients within the portfolio to assess ongoing fees, services offerings required, year-end tax planning, and ongoing tax planning.
  • Control personal budgets, chargeable hours, and recoverability for the portfolio allocated to you.
  • Organize and monitor workflow to keep all members of staff working at their optimum while providing the required client service.
  • Motivate, mentor, and encourage all members of the team to ensure they are reaching their potential.
  • Report weekly detailed KPIs.

Requirements:

  • ATT, CTE, or QBE Qualified or part qualified.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with introducers, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate questioning techniques and an understanding of principles of fact-finding, both hard and soft fact gathering.
