Lead Care Support Specialist - Excelcare Holdings

We are looking for a nurturing and committed Lead Care Support Specialist to become a part of our team at Excelcare Holdings. As a member of our family-oriented care group, you will assist in delivering physical, emotional, and social assistance to elderly individuals with diverse requirements.

  • Compensation: £13.00 per hour
  • Work Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
  • Shift Patterns: Day or night shifts, including alternating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and collaborate with Care Support Assistants
  • Work closely with the Home Manager and fellow team members
  • Participate in activities and encourage independence
  • Develop care plans and conduct assessments

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Care Support role
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is preferred
  • Experience in healthcare or caregiving settings
  • Familiarity with CQC standards
  • Passion for working with individuals experiencing dementia
