Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our manufactured products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for our products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems are integrated into our products.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, functional design specifications, and test procedures for electrical systems.
- Contribute to the development of electrical CAD platforms and improve design and release processes.
- Provide electrical engineering support to manufacturing and operating companies.
- Engage in providing electrical engineering support to key vendors and suppliers.
- Support the improvement of HSE performance via product design and operational guidance.
Requirements:
- Extensive electrical systems knowledge gained through equipment design experience.
- Proficient in CAD systems, with knowledge of EPLAN P8, EPLAN Pro Panel, EPLAN Harness, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of engineering systems and processes, including PLM systems, MRP systems, engineering change control, international standards, component selection, and new product development processes.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical controls, including panel building and installation, generator controls, motor control centres, drives, etc.
- Ability to interpret customer requirements to produce schematic and wiring diagrams and all part specifications of the electrical system.
- Excellent communication skills and highly computer literate with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
