Job Summary:
Vermelo RPO is seeking a highly skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for managing claims from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and efficient processing of claims, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Management: Process all classes of claims in a timely and efficient manner, working closely with insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to achieve prompt resolution and settlement.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients, brokers, and other parties to provide regular updates and ensure that all parties are informed throughout the claims process.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance: Maintain current knowledge of industry compliance and claims regulation, ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and brokers, providing first-line contact for claims-related queries and support.
- Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks as required, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Complaint Resolution: Resolve complaints in a timely and effective manner, referring any unresolved issues to the Head of Operations.
- Quality and Customer Service: Maintain high standards of quality and customer service, ensuring that all clients receive excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required, within the scope of the job holder's capabilities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in claim handling, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Skills: Accurate record-keeping, clear note-taking, problem-solving, and ability to work as part of a close team.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Acturis, professional qualification (CII, CIC, CRM, etc.), and experience in mentoring and/or coaching staff.
