Insurance Sector Graduate Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Claims Handler to join our team. As a Graduate Claims Handler, you will play a key role in supporting our experienced insurance specialists in resolving claims from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with lawyers, supply chain & logistics companies, and other industry professionals.
  • Guide clients through the claims process, providing advice and support.
  • Organize and negotiate settlements, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Document all necessary paperwork and correspondence.
Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Process new claim notifications and investigate cases.
  • Review and assess cases to provide guidance in both English and German.
  • Collect and organize documents for submission to various parties.
  • Monitor the progress of cases and legal deadlines.
  • Negotiate settlements based on legal and commercial terms.
  • Ensure top-notch service to our clients.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts for the department and company.
  • Keep our systems updated in a 'paper-light' environment.
  • Build strong working relationships with industry professionals.
Requirements:
  • A recent graduate with an undergraduate degree or equivalent, Law degree beneficial but not essential.
  • Fluent written, reading, and spoken German.
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively.
  • Persuasive communicator, both in writing and speaking.
  • Negotiator who can think on their feet.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Team player who can also work independently.
  • Friendly and helpful.
