Logistics Manager

Vickerstock is partnering with a leading food manufacturing firm in the Newtownards area to fill this exciting role.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee the daily activities of outward-bound products, working closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the delivery of products to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage stock levels and optimize inventory control
- Liaise with operations, suppliers, carriers, customers, and sales teams to ensure smooth logistics
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including managing staffing rosters, weekly payments, and holidays
- Develop and implement process improvement projects to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure strict Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Minimum 3 years' experience in fast-paced Despatch/Logistics/Warehousing operations
- Proven track record of leading a team and driving results
- Sound understanding of Retailer and BRC Food Manufacturing requirements
- Competitive salary of up to £45,000
