About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our team at Pathfinders. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations: Develop and implement effective media relations strategies to secure press coverage and build strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
  • Content Creation: Draft high-quality content, including press releases, proposals, communication plans, strategies, reports, key messages, and media briefing documents.
  • Digital and Social Media: Develop and implement digital and social media strategies to engage with clients and stakeholders, and to promote our services.
  • Media Handling: Manage media inquiries, respond to press releases, and coordinate media briefings and site visits.
  • Social Media Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to build brand awareness and engage with our audience.

Requirements:

  • Background: A background in corporate or consumer PR with strong experience in media relations.
  • Sector Experience: Experience across the property, real estate, architecture, and placemaking sectors.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to write in a variety of styles.
  • Media Skills: Good media skills and contacts, with specific experience of proactive media work.
