Job Summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking an experienced Accounts Team Leader to join our team in the Professional Services industry. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, leading the Accounting & Finance team, and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial transactions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and prepare detailed financial reports for upper management.
  • Lead the Accounting & Finance department, setting goals and objectives, and ensuring the team meets its targets.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to improve financial performance, streamline operations, and reduce financial risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives, and participate in financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, and provide strategic advice based on financial analysis.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an Accounting & Finance department, preferably in the Professional Services industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced numerical skills, with a degree level education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards within the Professional Services industry, and excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
