Position Overview
The Placement Counsellor role involves delivering emotional and therapeutic assistance to children and adolescents aged 4-18 within educational institutions. Operating under the BACP ethical guidelines, the primary objective is to enhance the mental health and overall well-being of the young individuals served.
- Place2Be offers extensive support, supervision, customized training sessions, and clinical placements.
- A minimum commitment of one day per week is required to provide therapeutic services to up to three children.
- Positions are available during term time for the duration of one academic year, with potential for extension.
- Participants can engage in up to six optional workshops for professional growth.
- Clinical hours accumulated can contribute towards professional accreditation.
- This role serves as an excellent foundation for future career advancements within Place2Be.
- Opportunities are available in both primary and secondary educational settings across the country.
