Senior Software Engineer / Senior Software Developer

Technologies: C# | .Net Core | Azure | SQL Server | REST API

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Salary: £80,000

Your Next Hire is collaborating with a prominent Fin-Tech firm based in London that is eager to expand its development team. This organization provides cutting-edge, cloud-based solutions that are instrumental for major financial institutions in the UK, enhancing their operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets high-quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain software applications, ensuring seamless database integration and functionality enhancements.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure projects align with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers, offering constructive feedback during code reviews.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer in the Microsoft ecosystem (C#/ EF Core/ .Net Core/ SQL Server).
  • At least 2 years of experience deploying applications on Azure, with a solid understanding of Azure SQL.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps and familiarity with CI/CD pipeline practices.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful Web APIs.
