Procurement Specialist

Kinetic Recruitment is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join a leading company based in Deeside. This is a permanent position that requires a strategic thinker to develop and implement procurement plans that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive procurement plan to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of goods and services.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and quality.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular performance reports to the Operations Director to ensure procurement activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Training and Development: Identify and address training needs for the procurement team to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in a purchasing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office and D365 ERP system.
