As a Business Education Instructor, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of teaching, administrative, and professional tasks, along with other activities relevant to your role. Instructors will be expected to teach flexibly across different class schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends, often in collaboration with other faculty members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess student assignments, ensuring all learning objectives are achieved through diverse teaching methods and materials.
  • Create, revise, and enhance course content as necessary.
  • Lead and manage specific modules or units.
  • Stay informed about advancements in your subject area and pedagogical practices.
  • Actively participate in student engagement and retention initiatives as part of a collaborative team.
  • Attend necessary meetings to contribute to decision-making and foster productive relationships within various teams.

Engage in staff development opportunities and peer review processes.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance) is required; a PhD or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Management and Leadership
  • Human Resource Management
  • Strategic Planning
  • Project Management
  • Marketing
  • Finance
  • Previous teaching experience in similar academic settings.
  • Experience in supervising student projects and providing constructive feedback.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Teaching credentials such as PGCHE, MA in Higher Education Practice, or FHEA.
  • Professional experience in relevant industries; strong candidates from industry backgrounds must demonstrate the ability to teach at the university level.
