About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Product Management to join our team at Proximity Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our product strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive product development strategy, including product enhancements and new product introductions.
- Commercial Assessments: Conduct robust end-to-end commercial assessments for projects, including market research and competitor analysis.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Analyze and understand the historical context of product lifecycles, reconcile current product performance, and develop future product roadmaps.
- Portfolio Management: Work with commercial colleagues to track performance of the product portfolio, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to maximize sales and enhance profitability.
- Market Awareness: Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to understand current and anticipated market dynamics, identify market opportunities and challenges, and develop strategies to address them.
- Value Proposition Development: Craft the value proposition and narrative for target product portfolios, working closely with CX lead, sales team, and marketing managers to test and validate propositions.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced product management professional with a background in product management within construction, manufacturing, or building products. You will have a strong understanding of product development, commercial assessments, and market dynamics, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
