Nursery Room Leader Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Nursery People. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to our young children, while also managing the daily operations of the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with our team of Nursery Practitioners, teachers, and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Promote positive relationships with parents and carers, and encourage their involvement in the nursery, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child, parent, visitor, and colleague at all times.
- Adhere to and promote safety measures, including first aid procedures, to guarantee the well-being of children in the nursery.
- Provide emotional support, comfort, and guidance to help children develop social and emotional resilience.
- Foster autonomy in children by promoting self-help skills and encouraging independence in daily tasks.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant and recognised Childcare qualification.
- Previous experience of working in an Early Years setting in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
- Good knowledge of Ofsted expectations.
