About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Patient Pathway Co-ordinator to join our team at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Directorate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage patient waiting lists, ensuring timely treatment and minimizing delays.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support to the Vascular and Cardio-Vascular multidisciplinary team.
  • Collate and record accurate and timely data, providing up-to-date information on patient pathways.
  • Work closely with Consultant Surgeons, Specialist Nurses, Deputy Admin Manager, and Personal Medical Secretaries to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and administration is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or administrative role, preferably within the NHS.
