Role Overview:

We are currently anticipating future openings for skilled professionals in the field of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. While specific working hours and details are yet to be finalized, we invite interested candidates to express their interest. This is an opportunity to be among the first considered for these exciting roles when they become available.

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training sessions, as well as conducting workplace assessments. You will plan, implement, and evaluate vocational programs, including commercial activities, while driving advancements within the sector and supporting apprentices in achieving their qualifications.

This role involves assessing and reviewing apprentices who are completing ACR Apprenticeships in their workplaces, as well as supporting their progress through various programs at both intermediate and advanced levels. Regular visits to apprentices and employers will be required, along with frequent attendance at our training center, collaborating with technical staff to ensure apprentices meet the necessary knowledge requirements.

Contract Details:

This position operates on a term-time only basis, with payment linked directly to hours worked. Holiday pay is not applicable during time off. Payments are made monthly, one month in arrears, through PAYE, with tax and NI deductions as necessary. Statutory holiday pay is accrued for every hour worked and is included in the monthly payment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A1/V1 Assessor/verifier award is required
  • Ability to inspire and engage learners, demonstrating a passion for education
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A*-C in Maths and English
  • IT proficiency is advantageous
  • Relevant qualification in the subject area, minimum level 3
  • Teaching qualification is desirable
