Chef Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to lead our culinary team at an independent prep school in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 7, cooking and preparing dishes from scratch, creating menus, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 7 culinary staff
  • Cook and prepare dishes from scratch using seasonal ingredients
  • Create exciting and nutritious menus for day-to-day and theme days
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients

Requirements:

  • Strong Chef Manager with a proven work history
  • Experience in catering for independent schools or B&I catering
  • Passion for ingredients and produce
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Attention to detail and presentation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility and positive attitude

What We Offer:
