About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team at MJ Quinn. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient delivery of our Bournemouth Contract.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful delivery of services to the required Service Level Agreement (SLA), while developing strong commercial relationships to expand our offer locally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire contract, including personnel and delivery of services.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all personnel, and that all jobs are completed in line with H&S requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Plan work and organise labour in line with service requirements and to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Identify ways to increase efficiency and improve productivity within onsite teams.
  • Correspond with external stakeholders to document all activities.
  • Compile and deliver presentations to clients and suppliers.
  • Collect and collate data for forecasting and planning purposes.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring policies and procedures are consistently applied.
  • Ensure all work is compliant with contractual obligations, industry standards, and company high standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working on NEC 3-4 contracts.
  • Previous experience of working on healthcare project delivery from a contract management perspective.
  • Recognised Building Services Qualification – ONC / HNC in Building services engineering.
  • Strong experience of programme / contract management.
  • Strong mechanical & electrical system background to ensure full understanding of systems for installation on designated project.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • A Full UK Driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no bans within the last 12 months.
