About the Role

As a Swim Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children and adults, promoting water safety and confidence. You'll work closely with our team to create a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages learners of all abilities to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach swimming lessons to children and adults, following our established programme and guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with learners, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and safe learning experience
  • Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas, maintaining a safe and disciplined environment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with learners, parents, and colleagues to promote a sense of community and belonging
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge as a Swim Teacher

Requirements

To be successful as a Swim Teacher with Freedom Leisure, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and working with people of all ages
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Willingness to gain the Level 1 or 2 swim teaching qualification with a training agreement

Salary

We offer a competitive hourly rate for Level 1 and Level 2 Swim Teachers, with opportunities for progression and career development.
