We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a swim teacher. As a swim teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers, teaching them the skills and confidence they need to enjoy the water.
About the Role
As a swim teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement swimming programs that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
- To communicate with the children's parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
- To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
- Willingness to gain the Level 1 or 2 swim teaching qualification* with a training agreement
- Enhanced DBS check
