A leading international product development company is seeking an experienced professional to cover maternity leave in their UK-based product and marketing team.

This role requires a skilled individual to hit the ground running, working closely with existing retail buyers, online partners, distribution channels, and global product development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of New Product Development Projects

  • Conceptualizing new products and concepts tailored to the marketplace and/or specific customer accounts, in collaboration with business managers.
  • Developing detailed product sourcing briefs and working with an international team of product developers to bring ideas to life, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Effective communication and coordination with international teams throughout development to meet deadlines, including sample development, artwork, packaging, and pricing.
  • Ensuring key supplier criteria and business parameters are met, and coordinating information through the supply chain to guarantee on-time delivery.
  • Maintaining product safety and quality throughout the development process.

Ongoing Product Range Management

  • Maintaining a detailed product specification manual for all items, incorporating product details and business parameters.
  • Ensuring product range management aligns with business objectives and market trends.
