Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement industry-leading internal audit processes to ensure compliance with statutory provisions and recognized best practices across multiple sites.
  • Provide critical assurance to the Main Board around operational excellence and the upholding of exemplary SHE standards.
  • Collaborate with business units to create improvement plans and support operational areas to address any weaknesses.
  • Work closely with the Group Head of SHE to identify and mitigate SHE risks across the Group.
  • Produce and deliver high-quality reports for the board, giving accurate and balanced accounts to all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in internal auditing and SHE compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly across the UK and potentially overseas.
