The University of Cambridge is a world-renowned institution for research, education, and scholarship. Our Human Resources Division plays a crucial role in supporting the University's goals by providing expert advice and guidance on HR matters.

The Role:

You will:

  • Act as a central point of contact for managers, providing guidance on HR issues and contributing to the identification and implementation of effective organizational change.
  • Advise on and support complex employee relations cases, proactively identifying service improvements and delivering projects to drive service excellence.
  • Coach and develop managers and colleagues on effective people practices, leveraging your expertise to drive business outcomes.

What we're looking for:

  • A graduate-level education and CIPD membership or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in generalist or specialist advisory HR roles, with operational experience of employment law, case management, and organizational change management
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, with experience of liaising with internal and external customers
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to produce and present clear, concise reports
