Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at People Solutions. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example with a passion for quality and inspire the team to achieve excellence.
  • Continuously monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and develop the team to ensure that all aspects of production meet the expected high standards.
  • Ensure that all products are made to the required specifications and that all ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers.
  • Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health and Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Control stock, portion control, and wastage to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned.
  • Resolve conflicts and address any issues that may arise in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the baking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
