We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Domestic Support Assistant to join our team at Sodexo Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain patient safety by ensuring the cleanliness of patient rooms, wards, communal areas, restrooms, and other hospital areas.
- Strip and clean beds, collect linen, and replenish supplies.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, walls, blinds, and floors.
- Empty bins and waste containers, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Actively promote a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including lifting and bending.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
- A passion for health and safety, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Personal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanor.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00.
- A 21-hour per week schedule, with Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday shifts from 7:30am to 3:00pm.
- Specific immunizations may be required as a condition of this role.
- Full training and protective uniform provided.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
