Working Hours: 20 hours per week
The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive perception of library services among the inmate population. The aim is to deliver exceptional library services and maintain high standards of customer service.
The position entails working 20 hours weekly on a fixed-term basis.
Qualifications Required: Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications. A foundational understanding of customer service, the significance of prison libraries, and a solid familiarity with literature are essential.
Additionally, strong customer service and ICT skills are necessary, along with the ability to engage effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
Please note that any appointment will be contingent upon successful criminal record checks by the relevant authorities.
