Job Summary

The Spa Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Practitioner to join our team. As a Primary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical consultations with patients, taking a detailed medical history and performing physical examinations as necessary.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, and provide preventative care and health education to patients.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, and monitor patient responses to treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their medical history, lifestyle, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in peer review and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on various health topics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Experience in primary care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
