Leonardo Helicopters is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team

As a key member of the Control Tower, you will play a vital role in shaping how we leverage data to optimize our Procurement and Supply Chain operations. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that ensure efficient data flow and analysis.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement data pipelines to seamlessly extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
  • Integrate large datasets to provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and refine data models for enhanced accuracy.
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve data management practices and oversee the lifecycle of our valuable data assets.
  • Utilize advanced techniques to prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling, driving informed decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough research to ensure data integrity and implement necessary updates to company systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Material Services teams to address technical data-related challenges.
  • Provide essential support for Data Analysis initiatives focused on Procurement and Supply Chain.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience with Data Engineering tools and technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in working with large datasets and relational databases.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Expertise in query authoring and root cause analysis for data quality improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid understanding of programming languages such as Python and SQL.
