We are seeking an experienced Social Work Team Manager to join our Assessment team within Children's Social Care at Devon County Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in improving outcomes for our most vulnerable young people and families in Devon.

About the Role

As a Social Work Team Manager, you will be responsible for embedding a high-performance, collaborative culture within your team. You will support your team members to develop their skills and achieve the best possible outcomes for our children, young people, and their families. Through reflective supervision meetings, you will champion their personal and professional growth, ensuring quality standards are maintained while promoting restorative practice.

About You

We are looking for a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England, with substantial experience in managing teams working with children and families in social work. You will be passionate about relationship-based social work and proud of your profession. You will be able to reflect and think creatively about how you can support your social work teams to build relationships that make a difference to the children and families of Devon.
