Job Summary:

Remedy Social Work is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Assessment and Intervention Team in Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out Child and Family Assessments and, when necessary, section 47 Child Protection enquiries to decide whether a child is in need of support from our Children and Families teams, requires protection or should be taken into care.

About the Role:

  • Carry out Child and Family Assessments to determine the level of support required by children and families
  • Conduct section 47 Child Protection enquiries to assess the risk of harm to children
  • Develop and implement plans to support children and families in need
  • Work closely with other professionals, including ASYE's and Family Practitioners, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the child's needs
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of assessments and interventions
