About the Role:
We are looking for a talented individual with experience in commercial environments, working on predictive and machine learning tools. You will be responsible for:
- Scope the brief: Define the objectives and requirements of the project
- Analysis & modelling of data: Apply statistical, predictive, and machine learning algorithms to extract actionable insights from large datasets
- Developing a price optimisation tool: Utilize regression-based, experimental/reinforcement learning, and Bayesian techniques to create a pricing optimization tool
- Develop forecasting models: Create accurate forecasting models to inform business decisions
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Databricks, Python, Power BI, PySpark, Azure technologies, and SQL
- Automation of pricing: Automate pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Data visualisation and reporting: Create clear and concise visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Experience in a commercial environment, working on predictive and machine learning tools
- Familiarity with Azure technologies, including Databricks, PySpark, and Python
- Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and a good understanding of product pricing, promotions, marketing, and commercial decision-making
- Desirable: Previous experience in pricing and promotions
