Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bio Packaging Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm to 6:30am. As a key member of our packaging operations team, you will be responsible for operating biological packaging lines, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and cGMPs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and complete accurate records, including timecards, batch records, and logbooks.
- Operate assigned equipment, including PLC-controlled packaging lines and vision systems.
- Clean production equipment and facilities, and set up/disassemble packaging equipment as needed.
- Apply good safety techniques, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisor, and demonstrate good attendance and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certificate or 1-2 years of college preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience with vision systems and robotic fillers a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and holidays, and to move up and down stairs/ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work in a fast-paced environment.
