Job Summary

The Applications Support Sr Manager is responsible for managing professional teams and departments, requiring an in-depth understanding of how areas integrate within the sub-function and coordinate with the entire function's objectives. This role has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of end results in an area, and may involve planning, budgeting, and policy formulation within the area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage one or more application support teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Provide technical oversight across systems and applications, leveraging skills across multiple application support areas to ensure a holistic view of the production environment.
  • Work closely with senior business heads as a trusted partner to provide guidance on feedback reviews and ensure outstanding issues are tracked to closure.
  • Consult with primary clients of the application in conjunction with development managers to understand strategic objectives and ensure delivery of end results.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup.
Qualifications
  • Experience in an application support role is an added advantage, but not essential.
  • Highly assertive communication skills and a commanding personality are required.

  • Ability to plan and organize workload, share information with other support team members, and effectively communicate with other technology teams.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
