The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our team at a hospital school in Wandsworth, Southwest London. As a Support Worker, you will be working with secondary aged students who have complex mental health struggles or disorders.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students in a hospital setting, ensuring they have access to education while undergoing medical treatment. You will work closely with the students, their families, and the healthcare team to develop and implement personalized support plans.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience working with students with mental health difficulties and challenging behaviors. You should be able to communicate effectively with students, families, and healthcare professionals, and be able to adapt to changing situations.
