Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Money Advisor to join our team at Adecco. As a Student Money Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing professional and specialist advice and guidance to students seeking financial and housing advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level support to students at all stages of their student journey, ensuring they have access to the financial and housing support they need to succeed.
- Offer expert advice on statutory and discretionary student financial support, alternative sources of funding, debt management, and financial literacy.
- Assess and interpret relevant legislation and law relating to government student funding, tuition fees, welfare benefits, and tax credits.
- Maintain accurate records of casework and provide continuing support to individual applicants and students as needed.
- Make recommendations for emergency financial support for students and interview students to assess their circumstances and find possible solutions.
- Deliver presentations and workshops on practical housing and financial matters to diverse audiences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including academic implications, personal/health risk, safeguarding, duty of care, and GDPR implications.
About the Role: As a Student Money Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to students seeking financial and housing support. You will work closely with students, university staff, and other stakeholders to ensure students have access to the support they need to succeed.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of student financial support, housing law, and relevant legislation. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
