About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Professional to join our team at Kawartha Credit Union Limited. As an Aviso Investment Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our members and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service: Provide personalized service to an established membership base, conducting interviews to identify clients' needs and goals, and developing tailored financial plans.
  • Financial Planning: Offer expert advice on retirement planning, investment counseling, estate planning, and life and insurance services to clients.
  • Product Sales: Sell critical illness insurance and long-term care benefits, and provide ongoing service in these areas.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate client files and reports, and provide regular updates to the Kawartha Credit Union Senior Manager of Wealth.
  • Community Outreach: Promote the credit union's investment and insurance services through the Aviso program in the community.
  • Internal Support: Provide support to Credit Union staff on wealth management products where possible.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-secondary education with a focus on financial planning or management is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of experience as a Financial Planner in the industry.
