Job Title: Substance Misuse Practitioner

The Substance Misuse Practitioner role at Catch22 offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who are dedicated to supporting at-risk children and young people.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective care plans, risk assessments, and interventions to support young people in their treatment journey.
  • Provide family-focused interventions and support parents and carers of service users.
  • Promote service user involvement through facilitation of groups and activities, and support volunteer participation.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to ensure effective dialogue, referral, and care pathways.
  • Work with criminal justice services to address substance misuse issues and reduce re-offending.
  • Deliver harm minimisation and drugs education activities in schools and other settings.

Requirements:

  • Access to a car and a full driving licence is a requirement of this role.
