Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to drive business growth and deliver exceptional customer service to our Defence clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring TVS SCS delivers value to our clients while maximizing revenue and profit.

The successful candidate will lead on contract growth opportunities, including support to wider business development activities, and will be responsible for identifying and challenging the effectiveness of business processes that underpin contract performance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of customer accounts to ensure excellent customer service, including key contract KPIs, while delivering value to the client and maximizing contract profit, revenue, and cash flow.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, delivering flexible and innovative solutions to client operational issues.
  • Understand contract obligations and commercial risks to ensure compliance, identifying and mitigating risks through liaison and negotiation.
  • Deliver continuous improvement and cost-down opportunities to the client while maximizing profit contribution to TVS SCS.
  • Lead growth and development activities from a commercial perspective, including understanding evaluation criteria, value creation, and determining price to win strategy.
Requirements:
  • Determined, empathetic, and motivated individual with a strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Pragmatic and quick to respond to challenges, with a high degree of commercial and financial acumen.
  • Enthusiastic to create change, with strong questioning skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
