Project Manager Opportunity at Vistry Group PLC

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC, a leading provider of affordable mixed-tenure homes. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our residential developments, ensuring quality, time, and procurement are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key information, engineering, and working drawing packages to enable residential developments to be built as intended.
  • Oversee the safety and welfare of the general public, staff, and supply chain, driving continuous safety improvements.
  • Lead by example, setting direction and delivery within challenging market conditions.
  • Manage internal and external design teams/consultants to meet project deadlines.
  • Encourage and coach team members to develop their skills, providing regular feedback and challenging learning experiences.
  • Ensure employees feel motivated and engaged to deliver excellence.
  • Recruit and promote the best people available to meet business needs.
  • Manage liaisons, interfaces, and contacts with customers and stakeholders to maintain positive and ongoing customer relationships.
  • Ensure all additional work is identified, fully costed, and agreed with the client.
  • Understand and appreciate the commercial implications and drivers within the construction process, incorporating these within decision-making.
Requirements:
  • CSCS Card
  • Valid SMSTS Certificate
  • Experience working on new build multi-story projects or housing projects
  • RC Frame construction experience
  • Ability to analyze technical and commercial aspects of developments and apply solutions in terms of time, cost, quality, and best use of available resources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Creates a positive environment that drives a culture of respect and mutual support within their team
  • Creates consensus through influence and persuasion with the ability to inspire others
