We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mathematics Curriculum Writer to join our central team at United Learning. As a key member of our curriculum development team, you will play a crucial role in refining and further developing our Mathematics curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Develop high-quality lesson resources, including lesson slides, printable resources, quiz questions, and other materials, that reflect evidence-based pedagogies and are completed to termly deadlines.
- Collaborate with our central team to ensure that all texts, images, and sources used in the curriculum resources have the appropriate licensing and permissions.
- Develop and refine a range of resources for pupils, such as knowledge organisers or explanatory videos, as required.
- Work alongside the wider secondary curriculum team to make meaningful links between subjects, where appropriate.
- Respond to feedback from teachers, the mathematics curriculum team, and the Director of Curriculum.
- You must be a qualified teacher with experience of teaching mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- You must have proven expertise in designing a curriculum that is coherent and carefully sequenced.
- You must be proficient in MS Office, including MS PowerPoint and MS Word, and pay close attention to detail.
- You must be able to work autonomously and deliver at pace to agreed timelines and project plans.
