About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Education Support Administrator-Student Experience to join our team at the University of Birmingham. As a key member of our student experience team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality student experiences for undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and research students within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Student Experience Support: Provide expert guidance and support to academic staff, students, and other stakeholders to enhance the student experience.
  • Administrative Support: Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and data to support the delivery of student experience initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the College student experience and wellbeing team, education support offices, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of student experience activities.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex queries and issues related to student experience, providing authoritative guidance and advice to colleagues.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of operational processes to enhance the student experience.
Requirements
  • Substantial Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of student experience and administrative processes.
  • Qualifications: GCSEs to a minimum of grade C/4 in English and Mathematics, and A levels or an equivalent level 3 qualification.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
